Undertake all work instructed by Racecourse Manager for the supervision of the Equine Pool Facilities;

Supervise daily morning and afternoon swimming of horse’s sessions as directed by GCTC Racecourse Manager Monday to Saturday.

Mornings 4.00am to 8.00am Afternoons 2.00pm – 4.00pm

Ensure all persons operate safely when using the Equine Pool facilities.
Open relevant gates to allow entry to trainers and other persons connected to Equine pool use.
Check that persons using Equine Pool facilities are licenced to do so and all activity to ensure compliance with GCTC rules of use.
Maintain daily record of number of horse and associated trainers using Equine Pool.
Ensure licensees using Equine Pool show personal representation and personal protective clothing be worn at all times.
In experienced horses are managed appropriately with a minimum of two handlers
Carry out any other duties assigned with the skills and experience of the incumbent as required.

Ensure Equine Pool Facility is maintained undertaking all necessary maintenance as directed by Racecourse Manager including but not limited to;

Pool surrounds are clean and tidy.
