THE OPPORTUNITY
Based at Royal Randwick Racecourse, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Senior Leadership Team by providing high level executive and secretarial support.
Key objectives of the role include:
- Providing high quality Executive support services to the Senior Leadership Team as required including word processing, presentation skills and preparation or updating of spreadsheets, to ensure timely and accurate production of work.
- Assist the Senior Leadership Team with diary management and coordination of meetings as required.
- Collaborating with fellow Executive Assistants in the coordination of ATC race day luncheons and attending functions / attend and host on race days as required.
- Assisting with the preparation of correspondence, documents, reports, presentations, and publications as required.
- Prepare agendas and take minutes for internal and external stakeholder meetings when required.
- Assist in the processing of invoices into the ATC’s financial database system.
- Undertake special projects on behalf of the Senior Leadership Team as required.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required.
THE RIGHT FIT
To be successful in the role, the right fit will possess:
- Previous administration experience in a similar role.
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Problem resolution skills, including understanding of requirements of key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate with staff across all business disciplines.
- Strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in order to meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and desire to achieve agreed outcomes.
- A formal qualification in Business Administration is desirable.
