[HORSE STALL CLEANER]
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work at one of Victoria’s most progressive and innovative Racing Clubs? Are you someone with a genuine passion for cleaning? Well, your perfect opportunity has just arrived!
The Pakenham Racing Club has an exciting opportunity for a Horse Stalls Cleaner to join our team. In this permanent part-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the horse stalls and associated infrastructure are spotless and well-presented following daily horse training and race meetings. If you have a passion for maintaining clean and organised spaces, this is the perfect role for you!
Your work day begins at 9:30am and concludes at 1:30pm, Monday through Saturday, aligning with the training schedule outlined in our PRC task management platform, The Hub. Previous experience with horses is not necessary, as the horses will have vacated the area before your shift begins. The role primarily involves hosing out the horse stalls and pathways, as well as cleaning communal areas within the horse stalls to maintain a hygienic environment. Taking pride and ownership of the cleanliness and presentation of the assigned area is crucial.
This solo role provides you with the flexibility to enjoy your music while working, creating a focused and enjoyable environment. You will report directly to the Training Services Manager, ensuring you receive the necessary support and guidance in your role.
As a permanent part-time position under the Pakenham Racing Club EBA, you can rest assured that all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be supplied according to the PRC uniform allocation. A valid driver's license and access to your transport for attending shifts are prerequisites, coupled with a reasonable level of fitness to efficiently manoeuvre the hose around the area.
If you have an eye for detail, take pride in your work, and are ready to contribute to the cleanliness and presentation of our horse stalls, we invite you to apply. Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why you are interested in this role.
Join our team at Pakenham Racing Club, where your dedication to maintaining a pristine environment will contribute to the overall success of our racecourse. We look forward to welcoming a new team member who shares our commitment to excellence in equine care.
Please feel free to contact our GM Racecourse, Bryce Mildon, at 0435 744 022 if you have any questions or would like to discuss the role further before applying.
