We are seeking an Assistant Yard Manager for our second training yard in Worcestershire.
The successful applicant with work alongside our Yard Manager at our second yard where we have around 16 national hunt horses in training. The role will include taking responsibility for the yard when the Yard Manager is not working.
The yard has a history of success including producing a Cheltenham Festival and Grand National winner. We have some very exciting horses currently in training.
Although the focus is on horses in training, there maybe opportunities for the right candidate to also work with younger stock.
Our yard is expanding with a record number of horses and it's an exciting time to be involved.
The role will include 6 mornings a week, 3 afternoons one week and 4 afternoons on the second week.
As well as management responsibilities, the role offer good pool money and plenty of opportunities to go racing and overtime.
We also offer a Staff Development Programme where we support staff through in-house workshops as well as funding for those that wish to attend courses externally. We also offer numerous staff social events and activities.
Newly refurbished accommodation is available, although around 15 minutes from the yard so transport would be required.
