Full or Part-Time Afternoon Stablehand Position Available - 10am to 5pm

McEvoy Mitchell Racing is a leading Thoroughbred Racing Stable with state-of-the-art facilities in Ballarat, Victoria. We are seeking a dedicated afternoon staff member to join the Ballarat team full-time. We may also be able to facilitate a part-time applicant depending on availability,

Responsible for the afternoon operations of a Thoroughbred Racing Stable, the successful candidate will appreciate great work-life balance with no split shifts. Daily duties of the afternoon team include:

• Mucking out day yards and skipping out boxes
• General grooming duties
• Laundry duties
• Afternoon exercise – swimming, walking, treadmills
• Hay, feeding and rugging
• Internal movements
• Some race meetings if required

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 5:00pm Saturday 11:00am to 5:00pm Sundays on a rotating roster The successful candidates will enjoy above award rates commensurate to their experience.
