When will you work?
- The hours for this position are Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00 pm. Onsite in our Lexington, KY pharmacy.
What you’ll do:
- Working with other Account Managers and Territory Managers, to promote Equine products to veterinarians with the goal of achieving sales growth.
- Answer incoming calls, managing the set-up of new accounts, maintain relevant information for each account.
- Contact veterinarians and patients to obtain information necessary to fill prescriptions
- Resolve customer issues regarding service, products, delivery and account information in a timely, accurate and professional manner
- Coordinates to follow up with sales activities/inquiries that come into the pharmacy.
- Quotes prices and provides information regarding terms of sales and delivery dates.
- Provides customers with product information.
- Develop and manage customer relationships with targeted veterinarians focusing on the promotion of pharmaceutical products.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of equine pharmaceutical products and competitor products to further educate veterinarians and our customers
- Maintain knowledge of products, pricing, shipping details and protocols of the pharmacy
- Direct phone calls and messages to the appropriate employee or department
- Obtain billing information · Continuously update files of veterinarians and patients
- Assist in the training of new employees when necessary
- Other duties as assigned

What you’ve done:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, animal science background a plus
- Pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Pharmacy Technician License - (current KY license or be eligible to obtain)
- 1-3 years of customer experience, pharmaceutical sales, or previous professional veterinary care experience desired
- Equine industry experience
- Demonstrated influencing and selling skills are essential
- Strong computer skills specifically in Microsoft Office
- Aptitude for learning technical and scientific product related information
- Outstanding communication and organizational skill
